"THE
LAST AFRICAN VIRGIN"
DESCRIPTION:
A young Nigerian writer, Emeka Okwu arrives in America to escape certain death in the hands of military dictators in his home country. He comes with a staunch African worldview and an idealistic view of America that are contrary to what his friends, Gerald, Dave and Francis have experienced in their years in America. As he fights to stay in America, he also fights to stay the same in spite of all the influences around him that are in stark contrast. He searches for a woman of his dreams when expediency requires him to get and marry any woman in order to regularize his stay. His visa expires and when faced with possible deportation, he refuses to compromise his principles. He loses his legal battle to stay in America along with his virginity.
